Q: This is the second in your Genesis Trilogy. Can readers appreciate this book without having read the first, and how would you describe the relationship between the two?
A: This is a trilogy that needs to be read in order. There’s quite a lot going on, including an overarching mystery across three books, and it will definitely enhance the reading experience to start at the beginning.
Q: Why did you decide to title this book Revelation?
A: I can say that all will be “revealed” at the end of the novel…or at least something very important—and shocking.
Q: The books are part of a multimedia effort--how is that going?
A: Fantastic! Season One of the podcast and the comic book are out. The AAA video game is gearing up for a release, though I can't reveal when. There is an interactive online game that is quite mysterious, and more media events are on the way. If you’re interested, you can check out everything at unknown9.com.
Q: What do you hope readers take away from Revelation?
A: Mostly, I hope they are entertained, and enjoy the mysteries, chills, thrills, history, and exotic locales in the novel. There are also plenty of questions subtly presented about the mysteries of the universe and the human heart.
I always hope to write novels that are both exciting and thought-provoking, a book that will have you flipping the pages as fast as you can but then, when it’s over, sitting under the stars with an [insert favorite drink] in hand, pondering the meaning of life.
Q: What's next in the series?
A: The final novel in the trilogy, set to publish in spring 2022.
