You continue to...Thanks for another wonderful book. You continue to challenge my perceptions and comfort my soul. I also love the Sweet Honey in the Rock song as I believe it speaks truth to the false notion that children belong to "us". My niece's daughter has a mild form of autism. I see her struggle as a young child with language and communication (especially in written form) that came so easily to me. But I also see that she has a unique perspective on the world that is a gift to all of us. When she was born, my niece pronounced that "she was born into the right family"! We are blessed to have her teach us a new way of perceiving the world.
